When nothing else than brighter future matters …

Written by

It is said that “one or we J could be limited within our goals or “limitless/quite opened” within our devotion”. In normal life it could be something like – your boss, of the type “the disproportionally small” or “the invisibly big”, (each of whom was something like half of an almost empty set J...), ordered you to budget exactly “X” eurocents J for research and development (R&D) and even though you might clearly see that according to the SWOT analysis, that you did J, a R&D budget of “X+/-f” could give a better chance to cope with the fiercely creative international competition J, you must obey the “X” goal/order! Otherwise you might be fired or even hit the highway...

On the other hand the “devotion-type” scenarios could be many, but let’s presume that the positively alternative way stays again at the side of the boss, assuming that she/he is an inspired visionary capable to differentiate between good and not that good choices openly (that doesn’t exclude criticallyJ) and asks for your true opinion, beyond given hierarchical status - by simply following the light from within, around or above J!?¿... Well in such case you, as a collective or organisation, may achieve a more optimal solution or fail togetherJ , but in my view and in a longer run, this should be the more productive and creative way forward, closing the gap between today and our brighter future J... Saying that to my mind comes a really close friend of mineJ, who sometimes asks is that for sure at 100% J - to what I pretty often answer “I do not know that, but in the best case scenario my proposal is closing the gap towards the known 100% in given frame of time... J.” Honestly if we take one of our best concepts for quantification, such as maths, we could see that even such broadly known and widely used measurement as speed/velocity is....best approximation of something moving within a moment J - it’s called instantaneous speed and that is the momentous velocity of a particular (moving) object within arbitrarily small space of time. I used “particular and space” intentionally, because at the same moment of time, we have many things happening ...all over the space... J. We also stay on firm Earth under our feet J...otherwise if you measure the speed of Mars from let’s say VeniceJ...you have to take into account that both Venice and Mars are moving (the Earth as well)...J. ...Then going back to the instantaneous speed on Earth, arbitrarily small space of time is something closing the gap towards the “zero-moment /limit towards 0”, but never actually reaching it (division by zero is impossible ...v=s/t). Yet the speedometer in your car shows close enough approximation, which we take as a 100% J! Hence pretty often in real life, things that we take as “absolute 100%” or so, are no more than our best/scientific approximation of our quantification of the World, as we know it at given time...

Following that way of thoughts I personally am supporter of probabilistically-agile models of leading (and not only vs. deterministic models...), something like – “do not try to crash your employees within your single-truth-order, but let the light from within and around J, lead us out of the box brightlyJ”. That way sharing valueJ, at best by passion and devotion, we have a direction of development...The rest is wherever we can reach! I do not want to say that we should not have budgets, income statements, balance sheets or other needed quantification of measurement, BUT let them be brightly-agile towards the best case scenario, keeping in mind that in real life at best succeeds not the best adapted for the moment, but the best adaptable towards the constantly changing environment around... And that bright agility has nothing to do with dishonesty or random movements, it’s rather the noble golden-line towards our brighter future...

P.S. Given the local reality...and weather-conditions (Helsinki, Finland)J, I recently shot a picture, yes this one. Then earlier today I asked 9 (the number 9 is not taken by purpose...J) occasionally chosen local people, about their perception at what time of the day or night the picture was takenJ? I do not want to comment the particular answers, just to state that their spread was between 2 a.m. and 4 p.m., as 2 of the people assumed also a season (I did not ask for that J)- a young girl assumed summer time morning J and an older gentlemen a fall afternoonJ, I am not kidding - it just happened this way ...Anyway I promised to all 9 of the people that in my comments I will publish the real-time of the picture shot from the EXIF of the camera, and here it isJ (see the last raw...)!

P.S.2 More than 2000 years ago Socrates and Plato ...? said “I know that I know nothing... J” – well each one of them was a really great mind, then and now... But as a member of the New Finnish and European Generation let my try to give a view, about what they might have meant.? May the future of life ... be limitless and our bright golden line forward tooJ. In that direction they might have meant, the more I learn, the more I understand how big is or might be the “out of the box” rest J...

Kind regards, RostiJ or .............!?

P.S.3Regarding instantaneous speed and the speedometer in your, his and her cars (not a GPS/Glonass one ...works differently...), suppose that all of you 3 are invited for a speed... test, where you are set at the start-line equally (like in the normally democratic societiesJ..., includes the way forward too...J ). Then you are given a sign (from in frontJ) to start and after each of your cars reaches 69 km/h (the different cars... accelerate differentlyJ) you are required to keep going with “exactly” 69 km/h (you are told in advanceJ!). So far so good, but let’s see what happens after that? Well quite likely and according to the best scenario speedometerJ, you are going to move with marginally different speeds, in one or another direction, and that would be because of the precision of your speedometers...:) J (; , which in the “normal life?J” you might take as a 100%...
